Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg has committed his long-term future to the club by extending his contract until summer 2009.While Patrick Vieira has departed this summer and Robert Pires remains circumspect with regards to his future,the news that Ljungberg is staying with the Gunners will be warmly received.
Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi will play for Villarreal next season,the Spanish outfit have confirmed.Reports this morning suggested that a deal was close and the La Liga club have confirmed his capture on their website this evening. |
